Can flights be scheduled at any time?
Aircraft are scheduled on a first come, first serve basis, 24-hours a day.
If aircraft are available, we can usually be airborne in as little as 90 minutes.
When our aircraft are not available, our schedulers will endeavor to find you just the right aircraft for your flight mission from one of the other participants in our network of operators.
Is there a cancellation fee?
Generally, we try not to charge a cancellation fee.
We understand that agendas can unexpectedly change and we try to be as accommodating as possible.
If actual out of pocket costs have been incurred in scheduling your flight, only those actual costs will be billed.
Will I have to go thru a security check?
All passenger names are required to be checked against the TSA's No Fly List. This is usually done prior to your arrival at the airport.
Only a quick check of your government issued photo I.D. by the crew is required prior to boarding.
Are there any photos of the aircraft?

Are there any US airports that Thunderbird Airways cannot fly to?
All flights are subject to landing slots and availability. Military airports will have obvious restrictions.
Some airports may not be suitable to some aircraft due to short runways or other concerns. Inform our Charter department of what city you need to go to, we will find the closest suitable airport to meet your needs.
How do I find my aircraft on the return flight?
Our coordinator will provide complete details for all stages of your trip.
May I smoke on the plane?
Sorry, No. All Thunderbird Airways' aircraft are non-smoking.
What items are prohibited to be carried on board?

How early before my flight departs do I need to arrive?
Your schedule is our schedule. When you arrive, we'll stow your luggage, get you situated, and usually be ready to depart in only 5 to 10 minutes after your arrival.
We know how busy you are and make every effort to ensure a hassle-free trip.
What amenities are available on the aircraft?
Most aircraft have:
- A fully stocked bar
- Both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- A variety of snacks and mixers
- Club seating with tables and workspace
- Air-to-ground flight phones
- Lavatories enhance your comfort
- Catering can be arranged for your flight from light Hors d'oeuvres to exquisite full course meals.
- In-flight movies available on some aircraft please ask our schedulers for a variety of movie titles.
Can you guarantee the jet aircraft is clean and tidy?
Yes, all aircraft operated by Thunderbird Airways are cleaned to the highest standards inside and out.
If the plane breaks down does Thunderbird Airways send me another?
In the unlikely event that your plan breaks down, Thunderbird Airways management will source another.
Are private jets quicker than commercial airlines ie will the flight be shorter?
All depends on aircraft size. Time will always be saved due to no need to arrive early, no waiting in lines, and no lost baggage.
May I add another passenger (plane size allowing)
You may add additional passengers at any time. We ask you to inform our charter department of any and all changes to the passenger manifest prior to departure to avoid delays.
If I fly to an airport outside of the US do I go through customs?
Yes. We will ask for your passport information and notify customs.
How do I get from the plane to my hotel?
Thunderbird Airways can arrange transfers to and from the airport.
